MISSION
With a firm commitment to Sudbury education, Blue Ridge Sudbury School assumes full responsibility for the careful growth and development, not only of the school, but also of every child who attends and family who supports them. Blue Ridge Sudbury School staff remains committed to supporting students in their process of assuming full responsibility, not only for their education, but for their life.

FUTURE DIRECTION
In order to carefully grow the school, Blue Ridge Sudbury School will limit enrollment to twenty families for the 2006-2007 school year For further information on enrollment: Admissions. Blue Ridge Sudbury School School Assembly members are actively working to find and fund a more expansive school campus with acreage. Blue Ridge Sudbury School will eventually provide a school campus for a student population of 50-100 students.

BLUE RIDGE SUDBURY SCHOOL ORIGINS
Blue Ridge Sudbury School (2006), formerly Blue Ridge Discovery School (2003), was founded by parents and students who saw the need for a Sudbury-model school in central Virgina. One of more than forty schools of its kind, Blue Ridge Sudbury School is modeled after Sudbury Valley School (1968) in Framingham, Massachusetts.
